  1. I would love to see more craft beers tested. Also, have you seen this?... http://www.celiac.com/articles/798/1/A-Word-on-Gluten-and-Beer/Page1.html

    1. Hi gpsmapper, Craft beers will be featuring - you can be sure of that. Thanks for the link to the article. I had seen it before. It was written by the CEO of Bards in 2004 and from what I have seen online, the same concerns regarding hordein (the variant of gluten found in barley) are being raised today. EZ Gluten are prepared to stand by their product's suitability for testing gluten levels in beer. Quote "I would say that for your purpose, testing traditional beers or gluten-free beers with the EZ Gluten should be sufficient."

    1. Sorry, I have never seen that beer out here in Los Angeles. I would have noticed as it looks like the Pringles guy on the can! I'm reading that they are Illinois based. I visit Indiana fairly often and will keep an eye out there for it.

    1. Matthew, Those are Aussie beers, right? Not sure they are available in the US where I'm located. I'm visiting London in a couple of weeks and will keep an eye out over there. I was a big fan of Castlemaine XXXX in my initial drinking years. Sad to read it stopped being brewed in 2009...
