Miscellaneous
  • Brewed by the Coors Brewing Company since 1989.
  • The "Light" and "Ice" versions of the beer are far more prevalent and readily available for retail across the United States.
  • In promotion of Keystone Light, Coors Brewing Company has created a fictitious character named Keith Stone. Keith Stone has appeared in numerous television spots promoting Keystone Light, where he dials a phone with beef jerky. The advertisements involving Keith Stone have inspired many customers to make spoof advertisements for distribution on the Internet.
  • In 2011, Coors Brewing Company, in promotion of its product Keystone Light, re-engineered its 30-pack cases to allow its purchasers to play a modified game of Cornhole, a popular Lawn game. The brewer rebranded its boxes to promote the game of "Canhole".

Test result

Very High Positive at 20 parts per million (ppm), meaning it more than 20 ppm. Though standards vary from country to country, according to the FDA, "In order to use the term 'gluten free' on its label a food must meet all the requirements of the definition, including that the food must contain less than 20 ppm gluten."  It is said that products with a gluten content below 20 ppm are suitable for people with celiac disease.

My experience drinking Keystone Light

Of all the mass-produced US lagers this my favorite. Keystone Light is brewed by Coors and is supposed to be the poorer relation to Coors Light. Seriously? Like Coors Light is top notch beer! In my opinion it is the other way around. Coors Light is under 10 ppm so it's a big shame Keystone Light isn't at least under 20 ppm.

I am not sure where I fall in the gluten tolerance spectrum; I am gluten intolerant but not celiac. I definitely know what it feels like to be “glutened” i.e. gluten exposure, but I have not deliberately pushed my gluten consumption limits with any food or beer. I consumed this 12oz can in 30 minutes and felt no gluten effects.

  10. Hi there! I'm not sure where you're located so I don't know if you'll have access to either of these beers, but I'd like to suggest to two to try. The first are any and all beers made by Alpine brewing company out of California. In 2014 they announced that all of their beers we're gluten reduced however, shortly there after they merged with Green Flash and stopped advertising themselves as gluten reduced. It's my understanding that they are still using gluten reducing enzymes, but I'd love to know for sure. The second I'd like to suggest is any and all beers by Yards brewing company out of Pennsylvania. I've read that they use clarity ferm, The enzyme that reduces gluten, in all of their beers but they don't advertise as putting reduced. I'd love to know if that's true as well. Thanks!

  11. I think we're similar, I'm gluten intolerant (probably not celiac) and can always tell if I eat something with gluten. Just last week, a family member made enchiladas that apparently had cream of chicken in it. I did not feel well.

That being said, I typically drink Omission but with the info on this site, when Omission is unavailable have tried Corona, Coors Light, & PBR with no noticeable issues. Those last two beers were less enjoyable, but I didn't get sick. I think I tolerate beer well in general, but I still avoid anything that tests "gluten positive".

Any chance you could test Coors Banquet? Coors Light is awful and I hold out hope that maybe Banquet is drinkable...

  26. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.

  28. There is no other way to get the body of herpes virus other than detoxification using natural diet or pure herbs. The health industry is a billion dollars industry - which is why the big pharmaceuticals sued Dr. Sebi the moment he discovered a 1-Week CURE FOR HERPES (Oral and Genital). Most diseases are acquired by what you eat. Even when infected by someone, it thrives because your body is receptive and filled with mucus. No disease can survive in an electric filled body. What you eat will determine how you live, how you behave, and even how it relates to you. Detoxification is the heart of ridding the body of the herpes virus. There is no other way to bring the necessary result. There are three ways to achieve this; Stop putting acidic foods into the body - if possible eat only alkaline diet, Fast daily before eating if possible for a year, Cleanse the body of toxins and acids with Nze Njoku Herbal Formula (Which also increases oxygen to cells). Feed the body with the right nutrients to repair, rebuild, and strengthen it at a cellular level and watch the body heal itself.

Some may wonder, how long is one expected to maintain such a diet and what herbs can help you achieve all these within few weeks?

Nze Njoku Herbal Home provides all the
    answers.
