Test result

Negative at 20 parts per million (ppm), meaning it is less than 20 ppm gluten. Though standards vary from country to country, according to the FDA, "in order to use the term 'gluten free' on its label a food must meet all the requirements of the definition, including that the food must contain less than 20 ppm gluten".  It is said that products with a gluten content below 20 ppm are suitable for people with celiac disease.

My experience drinking Pacifico

One of those perfectly decent Mexican lagers. I'm sure it's nobody's "go to" beer but one of those beers you'll happily have with Mexican food. I am not sure where I fall in the gluten tolerance spectrum. I definitely know what it feels like to be "glutened" i.e. gluten exposure, but I have not deliberately pushed my gluten consumption limits with any food or beer. I had no noticeable reaction drinking this 12 oz. bottle in around one hour.

  1. Hey! I have celiac and am pretty sensitive. I've been drinking ciders but they are so high in calories. Have you tested Corona Light? On my way to the beach and it used to be my go to. I've tried several of the "GF" beers but haven't really found one I like. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

    1. Hey Courtenay,

As a fellow celiac I have tried both Corona Extra and Corona Light. Neither of them have given me any issues with my GI tract. Actually Corona has become my favorite beer. Hope this helps.

    2. I have been drinking (not all that often but) Bud Light because it's easy to find and pretty easy to drink but no one has ever accused it of being delicious so I either 1. make it a summer shandy by adding a little lemonade or 2. make it a red beer by adding a little bloody mary mix.

    1. beware!!! I don't think they are gluten free. If they are actually malt liquors, then they actually are gluten full. Just like malt vinegar, celiacs et al cannot have them without reaction. I'm guessing you are referring to hard sodas and lemonades. Check your labels to be sure.

  5. I had a Pacifico at an office birthday luncheon. I am surprised at the order of the listed ingredients because the taste of corn was so very strong that I would have guessed the beer contained more corn than both malted barley and hops.

  11. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
